I'm Pranay Kapoor, a final-year B.Tech(Honours) Computer Science student at Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru — Scholars Scholarship recipient.

My work sits at the intersection of machine learning research, distributed systems, and language model internals. I'm especially interested in what happens at inference time — how models reason, where they are uncertain, and how to steer that.

In my final year and actively looking for full-time roles and research positions in ML engineering and AI systems. Outside of code: I run local LLM inference experiments, explore parallel GPU computing, and occasionally fine-tune things I probably shouldn't.
